Mani ietērptu baltajā trako kreklā un ļautu bļaut tik, cik tīk.

January-We read books and drink tea
February-Waiting for spring, we have a contest for the most beautiful book.
March-We build nesting-boxes
April-The storks arrive. Spring cleaning, Easter swings and dyeing eggs whit onion skins.
May-We celebrate Declaration of restored Independence Day.
June-We brew beer, make cheese, light bonfires to celebrate the summer solstice, gather herbs and bind birch twings for the sauna.
July-The Song Festival. We weed the garden and prepare firewood for the winter.
August-We swim, sunbathe and harvest honey.
September-Poetry Days. We dig up potatoes and pickle cabbages.
Octobre-Time to eat mushrooms and berries
November-Sauna time. We celebrate our National Day. We spend time whit the spirits of the dead.
Decembre-The Prose Festival. We find our Christmas tree, celebrate the Winter solstice.

even if you don't like it.

vai tu zini, kā to darbināt? vai tu zini, kā to izaudzēt?
es nezinu. nemāku, nekad neesmu mācējusi.
ja zini, tad, lūdzu, iemāci.

auksti. tik auksti kā ziemā. tik auksti kā ziemā, tik auksti cilvēki kļūst sakarstot saulē. tad labāk jauki cilvēki zem siltiem mēteļiem aukstās ziemās.

vientuļās, vientuļās vasaras naktis. bez neviena aukstā cilvēka, bez nevienas saldās miega devas. tikai ar tukšumu un minora skaņām. ak, jūs, cilvēki, jūs esat aizmirsuši. jūs atvadāties un nenākat atpakaļ. un manus saucienus jūs arī nedzirdat. ak, cilvēki.
